Insights from Climate Week 2025
Amidst the fog of UNGA (the UN General Assembly) where the leaders of nations got to speak highlighted by a fact-less ramble by the President of my country (the UN sabotaged an escalator and a teleprompter, countries are going to hell, Global Warming is a hoax believed only by stupid people, Wind turbines are a disaster), we celebrated Climate Week.
There were over 1,000 events during the week. It was the biggest Climate Week ever. We are forging ahead despite the political headwind of the White House. Billions of dollars were committed to environmental issues. The High Seas Treaty was ratified. Renewable Energy investment has surged to $2 Trillion per year. We recognized the progress and we celebrated our successes.
